MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Downpatrick Parish are seeking to recruit a versatile and talented musician with experience in choral directing, who has the ability to inspire, train and rehearse choir members to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be a proficient organist, with experience of directing and conducting a choir of young people in a church setting.
Reporting to the Parish Priest, the terms are based on a permanent appointment requiring initially 4 hours per week, with the potential to increasing hours with the development of the role.
Attendance will be for Saturday night Vigil Mass; other hours of attendance and work pattern to be agreed with the Parish Priest.
Ability to work flexible hours is required from the post holder from time to time. Hourly rate and other relative terms are available within the application pack.
